Some initial requirements for solar:

• Property / land is owned by the user, not rented
• Planning permission for solar panels is less clearcut for listed building and properties in conservation areas
• Panels must face between south east and south west (via south)
• Roofspace for solar panels should not be shaded by buildings, or trees
